Haiyan Zhang and Bogdan Nita received J. Charence Karcher Awards

Haiyan Zhang and Bogdan Nita from the M-OSRP were awarded the two 2009 J. Clarence Karcher Awards this week. This is an honor and recognition given to individuals under the age of 35 who have made major contributions to the field of exploration geophysics and represent the promise of future significant contributions. This is the first time in the history of this award that one university received both awards in one year.
